High purity mullite insulating lightweight refractory fire brick
1. Description
Insulating Fire Brick (IFB) is an excellent high temperature insulation product, and offers a combination of insulating properties with load bearing ability. IFBs are suited to applications above 1000°C or 1832°F and particularly suited to highest temperature applications above 1600°C or 2800°F.
IFB has great features including low thermal conductivity, High heat resistant and durability, Excellent resistance to thermal shock, Excellent construction strength and structural integrity, etc, which enable its capability of dealing with erosive and abrasive environments. IFB can either deliver big energy savings for many industrials or offer superior structural performance in load bearing applications or/and in conditions where mechanical abrasion exists or flow of hot gases is severe.
KAMTAI Lightweight Mullite Insulating Fire Brick manufactured from high-grade, high purity refractory materials by mixing, press-forming, drying, sintering and machining. Good process providing excellent heat insulation at high temperature and offers genuine energy savings.
KAMTAI Lightweight Mullite Insulating Fire Brick is well proven products for solving many problems of heat containment in industries.Typical applications for IFBs include: lining and back lining of various furnaces in the industry of metallurgy, petrochemical, ceramics, machinery and building materials. Insulating Firebrick (IFB) can be used in applications like:
Cracking Furnace; Conversion Furnace
Heating equipment or Heating Furnace, Even-heating Furnace,Heat-processing Furnace
2. Feature
Mullite insulating bricks characteristics and advantages: 1. Lower content of iron, alkaline and impurities, good high temperature properties. 2. Homogeneous structure, light weight, energy saving because lower heat storage in the furnace during cooling cycles. 3. High strength, good thermal shock resistance under high temperature. 4. Precise sizes due to grinding and shaping after sintering, which meets the requirement of construction. 5. Max service temp: Up to 1730C (3160F)
