Heating Method
Preheating: in order to remove the moisture inside crucible, please preheat the crucible approaching to furnace 4-12 hours, or burning wood inside the crucible for 2 hours.
Make sure the drying time long enough in order to preheat and remove moisture, avoid cracks, make working service life longer
Instruction of the graphite crucible
1. The crucibles should be put on the pallets instead of the ground and stored in a dry place with good ventilation.
2. The crucibles should be carried on the special transport machine, so. Please don’t roll the crucible directly.
3. Use the proper base to support the crucibles. Attention! The base should be with a bigger diameter than the crucibles’ bottom and with the same material as the crucibles’.
4. Don’t pack the crucibles too tightly
5. Allow the crucibles have enough expansion and extraction space.
6. Avoid high pressure on the crucibles’ top
7. The furnace cover should not be pressed on the crucibles’ top.
8. Make sure the furnace lining works well and repair it if there is damage,
9. Make sure the crucible and furnaces are concentric.
10. Don’t throw or drop metal ingot into the crucible is forbidden; use pincers to put the metal into crucible carefully
